Customer Review: Best Head Light I have Seen

I've been a heavy user of headlights for the last couple years. I use them to work outside when the days get short. This light is the brightest and longest lasting I have seen. I love it. The lithium batteries give me about 5 hours of usage (just like the performance chart indicates) until the brightness falls off. And it does fall off pretty fast when it does(15 min). It still lets you use the light but at the low beam brightness. I've run about 4 sets of batteries through it so far and it is holding up well. I usually prefer a wider pattern but this spot light is so bright that I have learned to overlook that. (It is a single LED after all) The head strap adjustments are a little too easy to adjust. They don't loosen up on your head but they do seem to move a little as you take it off and on a lot. Other then that it is a great light.
Batteries: If you buy them at your local retailer, Lithium batteries are very expensive. This may sour your opinion of this light as it would be expensive to operate. My solution was to also buy a 50 pack of batteries here at Amazon for about $40. These batteries are supposed to have a 10_yr shelf life and I have found them to last just as long as the ones StreamLight included with the light. So far I have used 4 sets of batteries in about 6 weeks. That should last me about a year. (I am a heavy user though).
