Compact and lightweight, the Streamlight Stylus is a portable penlight with a high-intensity LED that lasts up to 100,000 hours. It is designed for comfort and durability with a waterproof, machined aluminum case and a pocket clip for easy portability. Featuring momentary-blink and constant-on switches, the Stylus Penlight has different-colored LEDs available (each sold separately), so you can use it in a variety of applications at home or at work.

Weighing just 1.1 ounces, the Streamlight Stylus Penlight is the same size as a regular pen and fits easily in your pocket, purse, backpack, or tool bag. Featuring a convenient clip, you can attach it to your pocket for easy access, or to your hat or clothing for hands-free lighting.

Customer Review: Well Made Red Light

I purchased this along with a Stylus Pro white light and intend to use it for rough color-blindness testing, and may also use it as a bright red light for astronomy work. It is much thinner than the Stylus Pro as would be expected for a light that uses AAAA rather than AAA cells. It is very bright and fits well in a pocket with the clip. The LED is exposed on the end of the light and therefore can shine in all directions; an included cap directs the beam more like a traditional pen light. This should help to make the light more versatile for what I would like to do with it. The switch works differently than that of the Stylus Pro in that it is a momentary on-off switch with a button, but the outer mount of the button can be rotated slightly to also switch the unit on - and it stays on until rotated back.
Overall, this is a well constructed quality light which I would recommend for those needing a bright long lasting red light.
