The stylus is the single most practical and convenient flashlight I have ever owned. It is so small that you can carry one just about anywhere. I have used these lights for everything from looking for keys dropped under a couch to map-reading in my car and even as a supplemental light on search and rescue missions. The green light is plenty bright, and in many respects better than the white light version as it won't hurt your night vision -- and won't bother people if you turn it on at the opera to look at the program.Customer Review: nice light

This flashlight has a lot going for it. Small, light weight, tough, and waterproof. The LED will last essentially forever, so you don't have to worry about spare bulbs. It's bright enough to find our way in the dark, casting useful, if not extremely bright light out to about 15'. It's really meant to be a utility/work light for getting into small spaces so you can see what you're doing though, and for that it's excellent. It's a good balance of brightness and battery life. Even under heavy use the batteries should last a week or two, versus maybe one day with many larger flashlights. I wish the body had some indication of the LED color, since if you have more than one there's no way to tell which is which without turning them on.
This green-LED version isn't quite as bright as the white one and has a noticeable halo effect where the white one gives nice even light. Still a very nice light.

Originally I had wanted a small instrument which I could use to write in a low or no light situation
without disturbing anyone sitting next to me in a conference or theatre. Even before I started
worrying about finding replacement AAAA batteries, I lost my LED pen. Unfortunately the
instrument shone more light than a neighbor would comfortably allow.

A cool skinny flashlight with a green LED. My reason for buying this was that I have a number of useless AAAA batteries and this is a way to use them up. Frankly I have no idea whatsoever what a skinny green flashlight is good for.. maybe I'll give it to my girlfriend..
