This is my first LED flashlight. Size-wise it is just a bit shorter than the "click" ballpoint pen I'm holding up next to it. Solid as a rock, it is amazingly bright for a AAA powered light. The rubber-covered switch is fairly easy to activate in the momentary position, and a bit harder to get into the constant-on position. This seems ideal in that one doesn't need to worry too much about the light accidentally getting turned on when carried in a bag or tote. The beam pattern seems just right too - a concentrated hot spot in the center with a wider, still very usable field surrounding it. After searching far and wide for a reliable, heavy duty pen style flashlight, I found it. I work as a printer and am constantly reaching for my flashlight to make interior adjustments to the press. This light is great as it fits right in the pen slot of my front pocket, so it's always there when you need it. So far it's been 100% reliable, and has put out enough light for any occasion that I've needed it for (indoors and outdoors). It's extremely well made, and looks sharp too. I've become so reliant on it that I even wear it in my jacket pocket when I'm off work. I'll probably order a second one soon, they're just that handy.Customer Review: Always with me and my wife

I bought this based on a review I saw from a guy who does all kinds of gear reviews on youtube. He was right. For $20 this is a must have. I bought 3 of them. One for my car, the house and one for my wife to keep in her handbag that she uses. She is currently in grad school and uses it every night walking from class to her car, its a good deterrent.

Finally!
A good products.
If you're like me, you've been buying a bunch of those "great deal" flashlights for $5-$10 that
only last a few months and never work quite right.
I got tired of those and plunked down $20 for this unit.
What a RELIEF!
I mean, it just works (and works and works).
Feels great, very small, great finish, great light switch, batteries last a long time,
beam is super bright, I just love it!
Had mine for 9 months and sadly lost it on a new year camping trip.
Ordering a new one right now.
Strongly recommended!

I have been collecting flashlights for years. Especially the LED flashlights. I cannot believe the amount of light this puts out. It blows away all my other lights, even the bigger ones. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The best feature other than the light is the ability to either use the light momentarily or click it on for constant use. Another thing that is extremely appealing is that it uses standard AAA batteries and not some exotic batteries you cannot get everywhere. Thumbs up on this one, they have a winner. Makes a great gift. In fact I am buying more for gifts. Its a very practical gift.
