I purchased the Streamlight Stylus Pro just to see how it operated. I've had a Stylus with blue for years and like it for working up close in the dark but I wanted something a little brighter for routine tasks. This light fits the bill perfectly. I still carry a tactical light (either Surefire E1B backup or Streamlight PT-2L) when I'm out and about but the Stylus Pro is just what I need for lighting up the situation when I'm doing work around the house or need a light to throw into a bag for a trip. I liked it so much that I bought a second one as I gift - I just don't know who I'll give it to yet. :)Customer Review: Great little flashlight

Even though this thing is small enough to fit in your shirt pocket, it casts a huge light! I work in commercial building maintenance and this is the perfect tool. Any time I need to shine a light above the acoustical ceiling or in any dark place this baby does the trick, no problem! It is a bit expensive, in my opinion, for as small as it seems, but it's super heavy-duty and like I said, performs like no other for it's price. Streamlight has yet to disappoint me with any of their products. I highly recommend this to ANYONE. I'll probably buy an extra just to keep in my truck.Customer Review: Great flashlight

I'm a service tech and need to hunt around the dark innards of machinery. This light has earned the coveted position alongside my Kendo Gel inkpen and retractable Sharpie in my shirtpocket. Geeked out, I know, but I take my tools seriously and this light is the perfect combinbation - very bright, durable, lightweight. The best I've found yet. I used to carry the skinnier Streamlight penlight but this one beats it hands down ( triple-A batteries versus the hard-to-find AAAAs and the 66118 Stylus Pro has a circuit which sustains full brightness over the useful battery life)Customer Review: Streamlight 66118 Stylus Pro comes highly recommended

I would highly recommend this well-constructed, handy flashlight to anyone wanting a compact, yet rugged, household or automobile flashlight. The brightness of the light beam emitted far surpasses any other flashlight (except for my streamlight penlight which I also highly recommend to keep in your purse or pocket Streamlight 65018 Stylus 6-1/4-Inch Penlight with Pocket Clip and White LED, Black) as does the battery life. Awesome little penlight, bright for its size, uses normal AAA batteries, and doesn't burn them up in 2 hours like some small, high-end lights do.
Update- been using this light for a year now, daily as an HVAC contractor - the finish is all scratched, but the button still works like new and the light still works flawlessly. Its been dropped, stepped on, soaked, and anything else that can happen. It's a perfect and highly durable penlight - I'm going to buy the smaller model as well, no reason to touch a mini maglite ever again.
