Customer Review: Great little light

Just like everybody says it gives off a descent light, but remember that it is a key chain light only meant to help illuminate low lit areas like the keyhole of a door. To give you guys an idea it will illuminate a corner of an average sized bedroom. For its size this is as good as it's going to get. If you want something brighter you're going to have to settle for something a little bit bigger, with higher lumen output. The range is not great but sufficient for my purposes.
There isn't a button switch like most flashlights. Instead you have a twist switch, but you can turn it on momentarily. If you push the top of the light down, the light will turn on momentarily. If you twist the top, it will stay on constantly. I don't know if Streamlight designed it this way, but it works for me.
I have no issues operating this with one hand. Some people say it's difficult but I have no problem whatsoever. I have small hands.
It has a clip on the back that lets you easily attach and detach if need be. This is a plus for me.
I have nothing bad to say about this little light except that the batteries for this light is not as easily available as other batteries. Not a big problem for me because I just bought 50 spares online so I have them readily available.
Buy this now, you won't regret it.

This has to be by far the best flashlight you can carry on your key chain. The light output from it will blow your mind! I can't believe how much light this little tiny thing puts out. More than I ever expected. I am very picky when it comes to flashlights. I am not one to buy an led with 20 of them thinking it will be bright. If it has multiple led's it is junk!
I do not like to carry a bulky key chain. This light keeps that to a minimum. The car keys with the built in remote are bulkier.
As for operation, well all it takes is a little twist. One reviewer said they had to use two hands. I can hold the light in my hand while using my thumb and finger to twist it on. One hand operation seems very easy to me. Less than a 1/4 of a turn from off to on.
As someone who owns other high quality flashlights (surefire) I would highly recommend this as a pocket/key chain type light. You can't go wrong with this purchase.
As soon as my wife spotted it she immediately wanted it on her key chain! Needless to say I had to order another for myself. So, guys if your buying this get two!!!

Dropped dozens of times on concrete, water and even hot motor oil! still working fine
After 1 year of use the light is starting to dim down but still bright considering the amount of use.

I am writing this review after a year of use and cant find a flaw in its design. I read a few reviews giving this 1 star due to batteries falling out in pocket/floor since this has the screw on/off design, I have never had it open on me when dropped on the floor on carried in my pocket. Another con I have seen in the reviews is the need to use both hands to turn on the light. It is possible to turn the light on with a single hand, it may just require a little practice but its easily done. Also the light has turned on by accident but very rarely and the batteries are still strong after a year.

Compact, sturdy and usefull. The beam is really powerfull, lasts more than 8 hours full blown and lightens more than 10 feet away, batteries are easily found everywhere and its easy to replace, mechanics of the operation can be done with a twist of the torch's body, while still attached to keyring or wherever you chose to put it, and can be done with one hand. as it does not have a on/of switch, it will never worn out or break when you need it the most, but you have to be carefull not to under-screw it after use, as if its keeped less than tight, it may let the batteries fall of or the water in, and you'll lose the head with the led and circuits.
The keyring link is strong enough so you don't loose it, but not so strong that you'll never be able to take it out again, the finishing is good, black finish or colored finish, its well done and even, resist most light scratches and even some mean toying, and I have 3 of those, all of it are exactly the same quality of building and finishing.
Good buy to keep on your keyring, bag, toolbox and everywhere you need a light to find things in the dark.

It's a great little flashlight that's so small and light you can put it on your keychain and forget it til you need it, yet it acts like a fullsize flashlight. This thing is bright enough to help in an emergency. It's incredibly bright. Brighter than many full-size flashlights, with a nice beam, not to narrow or too dispersed. It lights up a room, even lights up treetops 25 yards away. It's a well-built little gizmo and inexpensive and I'm going to be giving it as a little gift. Great little flashlight. It's little. Very little. But so bright!
The minor downsides are that you need two hands to turn it on, and it seems it could possibly come unscrewed in the pocket (same action to turn it on/off also unscrews the case to reveal battery), and the "bulb" end is open, there is no lense cover, so it could get a bit dirty and make cleaning a little more complicated since you'd have to swab the little "bulb" and not just wipe the lense. But no big deal. Just nitpicking.
I'm well impressed. Put one of these on your keychain and your emergency flashlight is always within reach.
